Data privacy and confidentiality

ipac is sensitive to the personal information and respects the right of individuals to privacy. We apply strict security measures to safeguard the confidentiality of personal information. We use personal information for the purposes of satisfying the needs of our customers, advisers and employees, and related purposes. We practice the principle of informed consent – we, at all times, comply with the laws and do not use personal information in any other manner without consent of the individual. Your information stored in the Private Client is for your own use and protected by password.

We recognise the importance of accuracy of personal information. We take all practicable steps to ensure the accuracy of personal information.

We endeavour to respond to requests for access to or correction of personal information as soon as possible. When we refuse such requests in accordance with the laws, we will explain the reasons.

Protecting privacy is a service we provide to our customers, advisers and employees. We will provide the same high quality service to protect privacy as we do in all other services we provide.

Any information and personal data collected, compiled or held by the AXA Group or ipac from time to time (whether contained in this document/website or otherwise), may be used, stored, processed, transferred or disclosed to and/or shared with individuals, entities and/or organizations associated with ipac, industry associations or federations, fund management companies, financial institutions, regulators, government authorities and/or ipac’s strategic partners or appointed service providers, in each case whether within or outside of Hong Kong, for the purpose of: (i) evaluating your potential financial needs; (ii) providing subsequent services to you including but not limited to financial planning services or direct marketing of financial products or services and data matching; (iii) conducting market research for statistical or other purposes; (iv) marketing other financial services and/or products to you; (v) complying with the laws of any applicable jurisdiction; and/or (vi) other services in connection with the operation of ipac’s business.
You understand that you have the right to obtain access to and to request correction of your personal data held or controlled by the AXA Group and ipac.
